Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 1:07PM TODAY Scarboro Café: Our guest at SCARBORO CAFÉ this week will be Kent Hehr, Liberal MLA for Calgary Buffalo. Kent is also a member of our faith community at Scarboro United. As the MLA for Calgary’s urban core, Kent is a strong advocate for fighting crime, increasing access to affordable housing and protecting our environment. Monday January 23 Monday Morning Bible Study meets at 9:30 A.M. We will be viewing a video lecture by Amy Jill Levine on "The Virgin Mary".
Tuesday, January 24 "A Gathering of Men" - of January Men - will happen on Tuesday, January 24, 7:00pm at Deer Park United Church (77 Deerpoint Road SE). Folk singer, Barry Luft will lead singing and with Tom Melvin will add some inspirational readings. Are you a January Man? Come and find out.
January 29 AGM : our annual AGM will be immediately after service. Please plan to attend. Please also take a moment to review the positions that will be open and see if you will be able to help fill a vacancy.

LUC walking group meets on the 3rd Monday of each month at 10:30, bring your lunch. We gather in the parking lot to carpool to a site for a stroll, not too far nor fast.
